Definition of Symbols:

A character is defined as a symbol if:

• It is not a ASCII (value > 127, or \u007f)
• Can't be stripped as a diacritics
• Can't be splited as a ligature

Some symbols have same visiual representaion and they are considered as synonyms to each other. A symbol synonyms can be defined by the users and the default symbol synonyms defined in Lvg are shown as follows:
